Robotics is envisioned as a field that will make human life easier and better. Part of that vision includes taking care of the sick, injured, and disabled. Caregiving robots are already on the job in some places. From monitoring a person's health to fetching items and cleaning homes to providing companionship, robots are improving people's lives.
